WHAT IS IUI (INTRAUTERINE INSEMINATION)?

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a fertility treatment which involves the placing of sperm directly into a woman’s uterus to increase the possibility of fertilization. IUI procedure is generally recommended for couples who are facing unexplained infertility, mild male factor infertility and/or cervical mucus issues. IUI is also a viablefertility option for couples who are seekinga donor sperm due to male infertility problems.
